    Jason –

I am sitting here making ribs (thanks to your instructions and this blog) and very excited about the outcome!

I admit I read a bit of your blog while learning how to cook a brisket/ribs. I would like to say that both your thoughtfulness and ability to think critically are refreshing, as is your perspective on family and balance. Being raised Catholic and finding it provided me little in the way of cultivating actual life skills such as questioning, thinking, compassion, honoring our humanity/physical self, or making the best of our time here while we are alive, it is nice to hear a perspective that encourages the betterment, sancitity and love of self and others around you.

Thank you for demonstrating that there are people out there that have depth of character and are willing to put it to good use.

Have a great day with your family.

    Sara
