This book is very well written and does not dumb down its vocabulary for the masses. I definitely had to break out my dictionary more than once.

This book openly attacks religion from many different viewpoints using reason and the self-contradictory nature of the religions themselves. It accuses religion of child abuse (think circumcision & psychological distress), murder (the Inquisition, 9/11, Holocaust), bullying (the backlash against the free press for the caricatures of Mohammad), and the aggression against science (Intelligent Design).

I preferred The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins because of the way it defended the reasons for being an atheist and showing how living an ethical and moral life does not need divine intervention.

A quote that I liked from the book was “That which is asserted without evidence and be just as easily dismissed without evidence”.
